Cookie policy
My Club Hub uses only the cookies needed for the sites to work and to remember a display preference. We don't use advertising cookies. On our public website (the home, sign-up and information pages, not your club's own site) we use Google Analytics, which only sets cookies if you accept.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|
Session cookie (name ends in _session) |
Keeps you logged in as you move between pages, and remembers form progress | Until you close the browser, or 2 hours of inactivity |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Protects forms from being submitted by other websites | Same as the session |
remember_web_… |
Keeps you logged in if you tick "Remember me" | Up to 5 years, or until you log out |
theme |
Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode | 30 days |
These are strictly necessary (or set only when you ask for them, like "Remember me" and the theme), so they don't need consent.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
| Cookie | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_… |
Google Analytics: counts visits and shows which pages are used, so we can improve the public website | Up to 2 years |
These are only set on our public website, and only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. Until then (or if you reject), Google Analytics sets no cookies and only receives basic, cookie-free signals that a page was visited, which can't be linked to you across visits. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page. Club sites and member areas don't use analytics cookies.
Third parties
- Cloudflare Turnstile, on sign-up and registration forms, may set cookies to check you're a person.
- Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment pages when you pay online.
- Google Fonts doesn't set cookies, but your browser requests the fonts from Google.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you won't be able to log in.
